CTMES Rescheduled AGM 2023

Tēnā koutou CTMES Members,


Notice is hereby given to the membership of the Christian Theological and Ministry Education Society (CTMES) that a rescheduled Annual General Meeting for 2023 will be held on

Thursday 13th July 2023, 10:30am - 12 noon at Carey Baptist College, 473 Great South Road, Penrose, Auckland 1062.


Come from 10am to meet over kai (morning tea) and coffee and re-connect with colleagues and friends from other institutions. There will also be an opportunity for an informal Q&A session at the conclusion of the AGM.

Any appropriate business is to be submitted electronically to the Executive Committee at admin@ctmes.ac.nz no later than 15 days prior to the holding of the Annual General Meeting. All submissions are to be made no later than 29 June 2023.

Call to CTMES Executive Nominations

This is a formal call for further nominations to the Executive Committee commencing during the AGM. The Executive Committee is a committee of no less than five and no more than seven people elected by members at the AGM.

In accordance with the Constitution, Rule 3 (3.3), Executive Committee members will hold office for three years on a rotational basis, and will be eligible for re-election without re-nomination.

The Executive advises that Edwige Fava and Steve Graham have resigned. David Wardle is retiring and will not be seeking re-election. Sue Davidson is eligible for re-election.

There are up to five vacancies to be filled. To date nominations have been received from Phil Newman (Laidlaw College) and Leeana Kukutai (Alphacrucis College).


Members are invited to nominate persons for election to the Executive Committee. To nominate, please complete the Nomination Form.


Nominations must be received no later than 6 July 2023.

Elections will take place at the AGM on 13 July 2023.


The results of the election will be announced at the AGM following the counting of votes.


NOTE: In addition, nominees are to provide a short biography, key interests and may include a brief written statement stating what specific skills and experience they will bring to the Executive Committee (250 words maximum). Please email this to secretary@ctmes.ac.nz. Those nominated will be offered the opportunity to introduce themselves at the AGM.
